“BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE”

An Amateur Production BY ARRANGEMENT WITH ORiGiN™ THEATRICAL, ON BEHALF OF SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

Butterflies Are Free is a play by Leonard Gershe.

This famous comedy was made into a film starring Goldie Hawn in the 1960-s.  It deals with a handicapped young man who has set up on his own in New York and falls in love with the girl in the flat next door. His Mother disapproves and the action stems from that.

This production is directed by MTC veteran Graham Harrington, with assistance from Louisa Crosslé. The cast of four, Buckley Weirman, Catriona Arnold-Nott, Damien Cavanagh and Jake Skukan, are well into rehearsals, supported by an experienced production team and backstage crew.
